It would be nice if I could succinctly give you everything, if I could be my own pitching coach and detail all 73 of the pitches I’ve thrown over the last 5 innings of my life. Then, every 4seam fastball could carry with it all of the elements that a biography is supposed to stitch together in 100 words or less. I am not an all-knowing old man in an ill-fitting baseball uniform wandering out to the mound and so because of this I won’t kiss the bride, I won’t in one forced attempt try to express so much. Instead I’ll ask you to trust me. No rather I’ll ask that you grant a life to my letters and shadows, allow them to march as their own musket carrying militia regardless of what I have done or not done.
