As-Salaam Aliekuem Wa Rahmatullah. I suppose that this has been a long time in the making. In the beginning, I was born in Peoria, Illinois, then my family moved to San Diego, California when I was 8 years old. At age 19 I moved to Virginia to complete my undergraduate studies in Sociology at Hampton University. From there to New York City then took bayat and instruction from Sheykh Abdul Kerim. Since 2005 I have lived back in San Diego, California where I now reside with with Wife. I worked as a Mental Health Specialist for 11 years. I am presently a writer for the San Diego based, Islamic newspaper in the Spirituality section entitled'Path of the Heart" the name of the paper is called "Quest".
