Hello! My name is Jack Turek and I'm a data analyst who loves data, dogs, and pizza (not necessarily in that order!). I love using data to help analyze and understand what's happening in the world. My particular areas of focus are on urban issues - housing & housing affordability, transportation equity, and urban spatial analysis. I'm especially interested in how the urban environment shapes public health, housing options, and how people travel around the city. I am also a huge sports fan, so you will also see some articles where I attempt to figure out why the Chicago Cubs pitching staff is not doing so well, or why my favorite soccer team may or may not make the Champions League.
