Karingillespie

Karin Gillespie is the author of seven novels published by Simon and Schuster and Henery Press. She has an MFA in Creative Writing from Converse College, and passes on her love of writing as an instructor at Augusta University, where she’s won the William A. Bloodworth Award for Excellence in Teaching. Her nonfiction writing has appeared in the New York Times, The Washington Post and Writer Magazine. She is also a book columnist for the Augusta Chronicle, a former humor columnist for Augusta Magazine and a recipient of the Georgia Author of the Year award. In recent years she was the organizer and fundraiser for two book festivals in Augusta.
