Born 1958 in Fort Worth, Texas my name is Laura Jean Rainey. I am well educated holding two Master degrees; Human Resource Managment and Public Administration. I am actively involved in my community currently serving on the Bowie City Council. I married Charles Edward Sproles April 1, 1983. It was a special date we picked to join two lives; minds, personalities, opinions and love. Charles was born in 1956 in Centreville, MS but raised on Angola and Jackson, La. We share a daughter Emily Jill and grandsons Ronnie and Colton. I am currently very fascinated with Genealogy. It is an important avenue to your ancestors; how you became who you are, the lineage, the larger historical picture to pass on to those after you are long gone from this world, and before you meet them again in the next. It is my desire to do just that! Maybe I will start a blog at some point, at least I am set up and ready to begin.
