Well, I do still love to cook, when its something new and untried. So I'm, cooking again, and loving every minute, when I need to cook. Gluten puts the oomph into your baked goods, I mean, it makes them rise and without it, well your food can fall flat on its face. So, it's one foot forwards and two steps backwards, well, sometimes. Join me on this voyage of trial and error, of practice making perfect and enjoy the experience. I'm certainly going to. Luckily now I manage without feeling the loss of gluten as so awful and I've trained my palate to live without the gluten fix mostly and, when gluten is needed, a lovely slice of fresh bread, crunchy toast or cake solve the problem. So I shall continue to write about food, of course, but other matters too, for fun and interest. Llets see how it works out for me and you ! And now I mostly just cook preserves - marmalade, jam, chutney and sometimes quickly pickled veggies. I mostly garden for vegetables, herbs and flowers. Love to garden, love gardens love to make things grow and thrive xxx
