When I purchased a small resort town motel in 1988, it was just another investment to add to my successful, yet still very “green”, part time real estate investment experience. When I sold my “investment” in 2004, it was after an earthquake, two divorces, a mid-life crisis, and a wealth of experiences that could fill volumes. In the process I’ve learned how to laugh, to cry, to love, to live, and most of all, how to recognize the wild ride we call life, in every event.
