1. Course - BA Film 2. Favorite book or novel of all time: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay by Michael Chabon is my favorite novel because it's a sprawling story that encompasses the history of post-war America, the rise of the comic book industry, creative struggles in the face of commerce, and more by telling the story of two cousins in New York. It took me months to read, and by the time it ended, I felt like I had said goodbye to an old friend. 3. Favorite film of all time: The Godfather is my favorite because it's a shining example of the best of cinema. 4. Your favorite media practitioner of all time: John Peel is a BBC Radio 1 Disck Jockey from 1967 until 2004, and he was an important tastemaker that popularized many alternative bands and brought them to the attention of the general populace. I admire him because being a tastemaker and promoting music--especially local music in the Philippines,-- is important cultural work. 5. Favorite song/music/band/songwriter of all time: The Eraserheads are my favorite band because aside from their brilliant songwriting which is rich in everything from down-to-earth anecdotes to rich allegories, they are also fantastic as musicians. 6. Favorite meal of all time: Champorado and tuyo is my favorite because it always makes my mornings start off well. 7. Hobbies: Playing guitar/keyboard, organizing concerts, recording, screenwriting, film, video art
