Paolo
My passion is cultural innovation. My job is to provide the keys to read the present, to investigate changes in visual and material culture, to help understand design, fashion, technology and communication. After a Master Degree in Contemporary Arts at Università di Bologna I practiced trend research for more than 15 years in Milan at Future Concept Lab, a leading institute in trend forecasting and strategic consultancy. Today I live in Rome and teach at Università di Bologna and the Accademia Costume & Moda. I have lectured at Politecnico di Milano, Milano Fashion Institute, Domus Academy, Istituto Marangoni, Creative Academy, SDA Bocconi, IULM, Central Saint Martins UAL London, ECAL. I am the European editor for Cool Hunting. My articles have also been published by Interni, Vogue Italia, Vogue Talents, Eye Magazine, Marie Claire, Huffington Post, Vedomosti. I participated in the national Commission for the Promotion of Italian Fashion Culture at MiBAC (Ministry of Artistic and Cultural Heritage) and I have been part of the scientific committees of Milano Design Award and Brera Design Days. Since 2018 I host the podcast Parola Progetto. And all of the above are just excuses to read many books, take lots of photos, travel all over the world, listen to and tell amazing stories.
