Raised in Houston, Texas to two awesome parents. Tiring of the mosquitoes and humidity, I decided to study International Business at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. After spending a year abroad in Florence, Italy, I began an unpaid marketing internship at New Line Cinema one semester that introduced me to one of my first passions; scripts, screenwriting & storytelling. Naturally, I began drinking beer. I decided to do something different everyday. Upon learning there was a bevy of craft beer, I formed a blog with my roommate and chronicled my adventures drinking a different beer everyday for 400 days straight. I rediscovered many things about what I loved to do, and this lead me to enroll at the Miami Ad School Account Planning Bootcamp in San Francisco. After another unpaid internship in Experiential Marketing and a paying stint working behind the counter at a...unique...store my landlord ran, I accepted a job in Strategy across the country at a Pharmaceutical Professional (physicians) Advertising Agency. 10 days later I was in Morristown, NJ with my life in a Uhaul.
