I am a 37 year old, happily married mom to my "4 going on 12" year old son, Maxwell. I work as an engineer for a global applications company. I love my work, it's challenging and interesting. I'm generally a happy person. I don't have the energy or inclination to deal with people who only seem to want to be miserable and unhappy. Since my dad died in 1998, my philosophy has been to live every day like it's my last and to love everyone I encounter. That single event showed me how short life really is. Isn't it funny how life has distinct defining moments? What we do with them is the real test. I love shopping, especially finding a bargain on something I wouldn't otherwise treat myself :) I love fashion, especially California casual style. I guess I'm somewhat trendy and I love trendy coffee drinks and martinis - they are best when I can share them with my girlfriends. I have a lot of personality. Most people I meet find me funny; though, I am pretty sure some also find me annoying ;) That's OK too. One of the best things about getting old is that you realize that it really doesn't matter if EVERYONE doesn't like you - sharing your life with true friends is enough.
